This is such a diverse family of fish that one has to do their homework on the fish they want to purchase before introducing to a tank. All dwarf angels are generally reef safe, although some are more aggressive than others towards coral. In the larger Angels there are a few that are reef safe towards soft corals. If one has a fish only system lovely family to have as they all develop such character. |

Therefore when choosing a certain type of clownfish one must know what anemones they will host. In this family, there is also extremely aggressive clownfish which only do well in large aquaria.
